Open the day(s) competitions to allow registration of players into events

It is highly recommended to 'Open' competition on day of competition or day previous when all other competitions have been 'CLOSED'.  This will ensure all players will have most current handicap applied to competition

Quick Process

  1. Select [Competitions]
  2. Check Competition Settings
    • Review Manage Rounds to ensure correct tee blocks selected
    • Edit the competition to check correct competition type and scorecard selected
  3. Check Registration option in Edit Competition
    • 'No' will register all eligible players on timesheet
    • 'Yes' will set registration at kiosk or by staff in timesheet
  4. Select 'Open Competition'
  5. What to do if accidentally 'Open' a competition

Step-by-Step Process

1. Select [Competitions] when in Golf Course Bookings

2. Check Competition Settings

  1. Review Manage Rounds to ensure correct tee blocks selected
  2. Edit the competition to check correct competition type and scorecard selected

  • Review Manage Rounds to ensure correct tee blocks selected

  • Edit the competition to check correct competition type, scorecard and details

3. Select [Open Competition]

4. Competition 'Open' and ready for registrations

5. What to do if accidentally 'Open' a competition

If competition was 'Opened' accidentally it cannot be returned to 'Pending'. Will need to delete the competition and then create a new competition.

'Closing' the competition without any scores will automatically change all registered player(s) scorecard status to 'No Score Not Approved', produce a results sheet and not allow players on timesheet to delete or move bookings as a scorecard is now associated with the booking.
