Some websites have promo links on their home page that can be managed by posts:
Quick Guide
1. Login as Administrator
2. Navigate to Wordpress Dashboard (content / edit content)
3. Click on Posts to get to the list of all posts
4. In the All categories Dropdown, select the appropriate category (it could be called promo links, 4 thumbs, four icons or Home Page Links), and choose filter. This will leave you with the list of promo links.
5. Edit the post you are wanting to update
6. In the edit screen you can update the name of the post and the featured image that displays, and in some cases the text that displays under the heading.
7. If you are linking to a specific page or pdf, use the "page links to" option at the bottom of the edit screen
7. Update the post. The changes should now show on the home page.
