There are 4 score status options that can be assigned to players submitting scores in club competitions.
Normal: a score from a round that was played and submitted in accordance with the Rules of Golf
NSNA - No Score Not Approved: recommended status for players that do not complete the minimum number of holes for a valid competition round and do not provide a valid reason to the Competition Administrator. 5 or more No Score Not Approved entries within the last 20 scores of a players record will result in a Provisional Handicap status.

NSA - No Score Approved: recommended status for players that do not complete the minimum number of holes for a valid competition round and have provided a valid reason to the Competition Administrator (which meets the Golf Australia competition guidelines). This score will appear as an entry on a players handicap record without influencing their handicap status.
Illegitimate: Player disqualified for a breach of the Rules that makes the estimation of a score, or the use of the round for handicapping purposes, to be inappropriate (eg use of nonconforming clubs, use of nonconforming balls, cheating). The entry will be listed but plays no part in the calculation of the player’s GA Handicap.
