Details for deferring Handicapping Batch approval
Please note that the following information is relevant to MiClub’s request for all clubs to defer the approval of handicapping scores for competitions run between Friday 10 Oct and Sunday 12 October until Monday 13 October.
New Batch Process
In the new Golf Australia CONNECT system, when a player submits a competition score through MiClub Golf or OneGolf—whether via the MiScore App, a scanned scorecard, Kiosk entry, or administrator input—the score will appear in Golf Australia CONNECT as an unprocessed score record, visible to members. These scores will not contribute to handicap calculations until they are approved by the club.
All scores submitted to CONNECT are linked via a new Batch number associated with the players registered competition.
Approval of Handicapping Scores
Once all competition scores have been submitted, club administrators finalise and approve the scores by clicking the APPROVE SCORES button from the Score Upload page.
Once scores have been approved, Golf Australia CONNECT will process the competition scores and return a PCC daily rating and associated player handicap changes back to MiClub Golf. One a club has closed a competition PCC details and handicap changes will be included in competition all competitions results.
Procedures for Monday 13 October
MiClub recommends that clubs defer the approval of handicapping scores for competitions run between Friday 10 Oct and Sunday 12 October until Monday 13 October.
To defer competition score approval, simply do not select the Approve Scores button on the Score Upload page (as shown in the screenshot above). This option is accessed directly from the Score Upload page.
All competition results from the preceding days can be finalised via the APPROVE SCORES button as of Monday 13 October.
