The list of foursomes competition supported by MiClub including Canadian and American alternatives.

Handicap calculation for 9 hole foursomes events is determined by the number of shots allocated for each player on the nine played.

The shots per player are added together then averaged!

Example of a Foursomes event played on Holes 1 to 9 with half combined handicap

  • Player 1 - Daily handicap is 17 with 8 shots on Holes 1 to 9
  • Player 2 - Daily handicap is 13 with 6 shots on Holes 1 to 9
  • Team Handicap is (8 + 6) / 2 = 7

Old method before Slope - 17 + 13 / 2  = 15 then halved for 9 holes = 7.5
