Competitions - Max Score Per Hole (Club Guide)

Modified on Mon, 11 Jul 2022 at 02:53 PM

The Max Score Per Hole functionality is now ready for deployment as approved by Golf Australia. Max Score per Hole lets player scores be reduced to the maximum number of strokes above nett par or for players to record the max score if not completing the hole.

The default for maximum strokes above nett par for each hole has been set at three shots (eg. an 18 handicapper on a par 4 can have a maximum of 8 strokes). Please contact support to adjust per hole or the default.

Competition Setup

Max Score Per Hole option is available in the standard competition setup.  Select either an individual Nett(Stroke) or Gross competition type - 'Max Scores Enabled' option displays in 'Scoring & Scorecard'.

Scorecard Template

Support staff will load a 'MAX' card to the Competition Scorecards or can still select the normal stroke round scorecard.

Kiosk Score Entry

Scan cards or enter scores hole-by-hole as normal. Any scores that exceed the maximum per hole will revert to the maximum score allowed on the hole and will be indicated by the ^^ symbol under  the score.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards for Max Score Per Hole competitions will display the ^^ symbol to indicate a players score has been reduced to the max score on a hole.
