This article shows how to view the GPS distance to the pin (and around it)

Select the distance in metres on the bottom left of every hole to view aerial image of the hole.
To Mid - Distance is measured to centre of green
To Pin - Pin has been marked as actual location by club staff
*New* Front/Back - Distance is measured to the front and back of green
On aerial view select bunkers, fairways and greens to see the distance from your location. Handy for how far to carry the ball.
Visual Guide:
Select the 'Map' icon at the bottom, next to 'Score'.
Once you select the Map button, the hole image will appear.
Touch the screen to locate the marker.
You can pinch the screen with your thumb and forefinger to zoom in or out.
