Competition Closing Process - NZ Clubs

Close the Competition to produce results with 

• Scores
• Prizes allocated
• Eclectic update

Quick Process

1. Select [Competitions]
2. Prior to [Close Competition]
   • Finalise Prize Allocations (if required)
3. Select [Close Competition]
4. Competitions now CLOSED and [Results] button available
5. Review Results and create extra reports (if required)
6. Timesheet status changes to Results and results reports can be viewed by members online
7. Eclectic will update within minutes if competition associated with Eclectic(s)
8. Upload scores to DotGolf (process changed since May 2020 - new interface and direct integration to DotGolf exists now.) 

Step-by-Step Process

1. Select [Competitions]

2. Prior to [Close Competition]

• Finalise Prize Allocations (if required)

	Select Prizes
	Select Finalise Prize Rules (make sure all NTP's and additional prizes have been allocated) Prizes Finalised or Posted

3. Select [Close Competition]

4. Competition now 'CLOSED' and 'Results' available

5. Review Results and create extra reports (if required)

6. Timesheet status changes to Results and results reports can be viewed by members online

7. Eclectic will update within minutes if competition is associated with Eclectic(s)

8. Upload scores to DotGolf

NOTE this process has changed since MAY 2020 and WHS was implemented. 

Please refer to instructions on the new Score upload page instead.

From the admin menu bar select the NZ Golf option followed by Scorecard Upload.

Select the date in which to select the scorecard batch from and then select the required batch from the Batches found drop down menu.

Once the relevant batch is selected choose the Close Batch option.

Once this has been selected choose the Create NZGA File option.

The system will take a couple of seconds to generate the file and will display an option to Click HERE to download.

Once selected a text file will be downloaded under the file name NZGA_XX with XX being replaced by the batch number. Save this file in a known file destination. 

Login to DotGolf and upload the member scores file. This can be done by navigating to Members > Upload Members / Scores (NZGA.TXT).
