To increase accessibility on web site both images and links needs to be properly used.

Quick Solution

  • Links - use proper headings on links
  • Images - Use ALT tags with description of image

Step By Step Guide

Links

  • Use meaningful word as link text
  • Don’t use URL’s as link text

eg :

www.yoursite.com.au/download/2019fixture.pdf

instead of using a url/link as above

Use Download 2019 Fixtures

and link the document with proper tag

  • If you use icon or image instead of text make sure they have useful ALT attribute.

Images

  • Use proper alt tags on all the images
  • When you uploading media always enter a meaningful alt tag
