Step by Step Guide

  1. Go to "Pages" or "Posts" in the navigation menu and open the page you would like to add the document to.
  2. Click on the "Add Media" button in the page editor. This can also be found be clicking "Insert" then "Add Media".
  3. Click "Upload Files" and then drop the file(s) anywhere in the window to upload them to your media library. You can also "Select Files" to upload them.
  4. Once uploaded, adjust the "Title" of the file, and click "Insert Into Page" to create your link. You can also copy a URL link to the PDF file and paste this into any another link on your web page.
  5. To create a new in-text link, simply highlight text in your editor and click the "Insert Link" button (chain icon). Then paste your PDF file's URL into the appropriate (URL) field and click "OK". This can also be achieved by using the same process for a button link or an image link.
  6. Congratulations. You now have an in-text link to your PDF file. Make sure you click "Save Draft" or "Update" to publish your change to the web page.
