Refunding payments

A purchase or booking payment processed using bookitPay or SecurePay can be refunded manually or  automatically.

 

Configuring an account for refunding 

An account can be configured for automatic and/or manual refunds for account that use bookitPay or SecurePay.

  • Log in as an account Administrator
  • Select Setting > Online Payments
  • Select the refund options required

  • Select Save

Manual refunds

When your account is configure for manual refunds an account user with Adiministrator or Manager acess can fully or partially refund payments from the client history.

Automatic refunds 

When your account is configure for automatic refunds a refund is automatically triggered when a booking or event booking is cancelled. The original payment is fully or partially refunded based on the cancellation rules configured on the account.
